Wine Note 72% Gimblett Gravels , 28% Tuki Tuki. This wine shows complex aromas of lime, grapefruit and white-flesh stonefruit with hints of sweet toasted biscuit.A luscious mouthfeel comes from weekly lees stirring and further maturation in 44% new French oak barriques for 10 months. A succulent finely structured Chardonnay, the perfect match with roast monkfish topped with bacon and roast lemons, or try with grilled salmon. Fruit 100% Chardonnay Alcohol Content 14% Vinification Hand picked batches were whole bunch pressed and lightly settled. The juice was fermented in new and 1-2 year old fine grain French barrels from a variety of high quality coopers. The wine underwent malolactic in barrel with 30% of the wine innoculated.
